Finding our house
We were extremely lucky to find our house. There was a huge amount of interest in the property, mostly from developers, and the sellers were getting jaded with the talk of splitting the property into multiple houses. Then we turned up, excited to leave it as a single property, and they could see that we loved it as much as they had for the past 35 years.
It was back in 2010 when we had ” The Beast From The East” (how I hate that name) that we moved in. Boy was that difficult.
Moving In
Moving in. That sounds so easy. Gee wizz that was hard.
The snow was so bad on the gravel forest track accessing our house, that the previous owners had their removal truck drive into one of the drainage ditches. It took them about 3 hours to get it out with two tractors.
